Doesn’t it seem like some people have it all figured out when it comes to manifesting law of attraction miracles? They set an intention – take some “effortless” action towards it, and “poof” – like a genie in a bottle, they attract whatever they want out of life.
We all know people like this. They just seem to have the “Midas” touch where everything they touch turns to gold.

Thankfully, we do all have this power. It’s been given to us since birth. We’ve just never learned (or forgotten) how to use it in the first place.
We’ve grown up our whole lives being told what we “can’t” or “shouldn’t” do. As a child we were told the word “no” several thousand times (maybe even millions).
We were told things such as “don’t do that,” “that doesn’t work,” “You’re just no good at that,” and the like.
Over time, because we didn’t know any better, we came to accept these statements as “truth.” As such, our brain has been working overtime since that day to make sure it turns what we perceive as “truth” become our reality.
Here’s an example:
Thinking back to when I was a kid. I had a tendency to “lose” or “forget” things.
I frequently put my wallet in places I couldn’t’ remember. I would take my ring off in the restroom and leave it there. I repeatedly would leave my phone at my friends’ house.
Each time I did this, I would say to myself “Dang it, I always lose my stuff.” or, “I always forget.”
Well you can guess what has continued to happen?
Even to this day I find myself “forgetting” or “losing” items. I misplace my wallet, leave my phone at work, and I’ve even lost two sets of car keys in the last few months at my house.
I’m sure you’ve experienced something similar?
You see, it’s not so much that I actually am a forgetful person. It’s the fact that I’ve spent a good portion of my life telling my brain these statements. It simply views them as instructions for what to do and goes to work to make it happen.
It’s almost like each time I say these things to myself my brain answers with “OK, so that’s what you want me to do. I’ll go ahead and make that happen for you.”
My subconscious mind doesn’t recognize the fact that I don’t want to always lose things. It doesn’t question the statement, it simply accepts it as a command and goes to work to make it happen.
Thankfully, there’s a way to remedy this.
It has to do with reprogramming your mind to do the opposite of what you don’t want it to do.
It’s more about changing the “negative” statements into more “positive” ones that will program you to do more of what you want.
It all starts in the mind and It’s one of the great secrets to making the law of attraction work for you.
Instead of saying “I always lose things,” from here on forward I’m going to say “I no longer lose things.” “I know exactly where everything is at all times.”
This is even more effective if you write it down. An even better technique is to listen to these as you go about your daily activities.
