The Secret Does Work
I’m a small town girl who grew up in Maine. When I found out I was moving to Arizona, I was so excited. This would be my own personal “coming-of-age” episode – after growing almost in secret in backwoods Maine, I’d get to blossom in the big city! The cultural melting pot of people and a walker’s paradise has always appealed to me. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. Phoenix turned out to be completely different from what I’d imagined. Clubbing and shopping are fine – in moderation – but they seemed to be the major activities in Phoenix. The weather was disappointing, and the topography didn’t appeal to me either. It seemed as if my work life and personal life both started out great and then both went downhill. I was miserable during the days I spent at work, and I was miserable during the evenings I spent with a guy who pushed all the wrong buttons. On top of that I gained a lot of weight because I turned to food for comfort. It was family loyalty alone that kept me in the Phoenix area.
I dumped my ex, and that was the first step in regaining power over my life. Right away, a sense of liberation swept over me and I could see already that new directions were opening up for me. I started everyday with the thought of “Be grateful for yesterday, look forward to the future and create in now”. I even maintained a gratitude journal, and made a point of writing in it every night! I turned my life around: I got a new job. I got a fabulous new apartment. I got rid of about 50 pounds. And I got pumped up.
I had to regain control of my life, and nobody was going to accomplish that daunting task for me. I had to do it myself, and I did, using the Law of Attraction. How did I respond to the obstacles I found in my path? How did I keep my emotions under control? I used positive thinking. But most of all, I embraced life with an opened mind and heart. Before I knew it many windows of opportunity opened themselves up to me. I knew that I could find romance as well, and so I started dating again, and finally did meet – and fall in love with – my dream guy! We moved to San Fransisco that had all of the qualities I wanted in a city, a big diversity of people and a walker’s paradise.
And then I watched The Secret – AFTER I’d made all those changes in my life! Can you imagine how shocked I was? I’m telling you now, The Secret really does work! Just imagine – I accomplished all I did using the Law of Attraction without knowing I was doing so! Doesn’t it make sense that someone who knows about it, and knows how to use it, will have results at least as good as mine were? I am so thrilled now! Not only have I turned my life around, and completely for the better, I can share how I did it with others and help them to manifest their deepest desires as well!
