Intellect has traditionally been considered to be something less than desirable when it comes to dating or marriage. Yet with the new definition of sexy intellect, social structure is changing. While once deemed forever as the geek or the nerd, those with intense intellectual interest and abilities are now becoming the hot ticket item on the adult dating scene.

It’s far past time that the general public recognized the value of a fantastic mind, but it is now finally doing exactly that. They are hot guys that can spew forth some of the most intricate mathematical equations while flicking back their enviable hair. When the public started to notice the destruction of the old stereotype, there were changes throughout all social groups.

There is a little concern among those who have been categorized either by profession or personal experiences as the intellect of the group. While those who were once overlooked are now finding that they receive more attention, there is now a new expectation that has developed and it threatens to create a secondary stereotype.

When we all look and evaluate people, we tend to evaluate a number of things at once. We take in their physical appearance, the confidence level they portray, their ability to relate, and their overall basic intelligence. This allows us to determine whether we wish to continue contact or whether we prefer to engage elsewhere. It’s common and natural.

Social challenges await as the current destruction of the common stereotypes starts to unravel decades of combined thought. There are those that believe firmly in stereotypical groupings in order to experience faster connections with those they are commonly attracted to. The fear that can develop from getting rid of stereotypes may very well impact the current process as well.

Fortunately, no matter where you sit on the scale of intelligence or the scale of attractiveness, there is now the potential for improvement anywhere you see fit. As you become more versatile you naturally become more attractive to everyone around you.
